News and Notes

  • The annual Roanoke Holiday Party was held on Tuesday, December 5, at Hunting Hills Country Club.  The party began with a festive, and filling, lunch (Caesar salad, sirloin steak, risotto, green bean almondine and carrot cake.  Lunch was followed by bridge (13.5 tables).  Overall winners:

  • Join us at 11:30am on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a Chef-prepared hors d’oeuvre and some refreshing lemonade.
  • For the remainder of 2023, whenever the table count is ten or higher, we will serve chocolate chip cookies warm from the oven!

  • If Roanoke County schools are closed, the Bridge Club of Roanoke Valley will not play in person. We will hold an online game at 12:30 PM instead.
  • If Roanoke County schools open late, the Bridge Club of Roanoke Valley will play in person at our regular 12:30 PM game.
  • If Roanoke County schools close early, the Bridge Club of Roanoke Valley will truncate the game.


NOTE: In the event that the Hunting Hills Country Club is closed, we will announce it as soon as possible.
